In world news, the United States will open its relocated Israeli embassy in Jerusalem, on this, the 70th anniversary of Israel’s independence.

In national news, the U.S. Department of Education is stepping back from efforts to protect students from abusive practices in for-profit colleges.

And in local news, New York University’s plans to expand its campus in Abu Dhabi are not on track.

*And finally, this is my 81st and final broadcast ever for Brooklyn College Radio and WBCR News. I’m saying goodbye to this station for the final time after this broadcast.
