In world news, British Prime Minister David Cameron decides to accept more Syrian children as refugees into his country; and the Turkish Prime Minister has decided to resign due to his superior’s authoritarian ways.

In national news, President Obama paid a visit to Flint, Michigan for the first time since the city’s water crisis began; and the Obama Administration was sued by an Army Officer based in Kuwait for starting an illegal fight against ISIS.

In local news, Mayor Bill de Blasio requests seven more years of mayoral control over New York City public schools; and Mayor de Blasio is set to announce the construction of three apartment buildings, all totaling 500 apartment spaces, in the Bronx and Brooklyn.

And finally, Brooklyn College will have a new President succeeding our current leader, Karen L. Gould, on August 1, 2016.
