In world news, volunteers in Nigeria are not backing down in their efforts to vaccinate children for protection against Polio; and four suicide bombers detonated explosives in the state television offices in eastern Afghanistan.

In national news; President Trump will make his first overseas trip as commander-in-chief later this week; and the President revealed highly classified intelligence provided by Israel to the Russian Foreign Minister and the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. in the White House last week.

In local news, the MTA unveiled a plan to immediately solve the delays and overcrowding in the NYC Subway system; and Mayor Bill de Blasio is moving forward with his plan to create homeless shelters throughout the five boroughs.
