In national news, religious leaders are restarting a movement to address poverty 50 years after the assassination of Martin Luther King; and monuments for land conservation are at risk of being reduced in Trump’s latest attempt to change law.

In local news, the MTA is looking into a proposal to suspend 24/7 subway service; and the MTA is spending $3 billion for over 1,000 new train cars for the subway system.
