This incarnation of Brooklyn College Radio began in 2004, when our current facilities were built. We now function as a free-form, non-commercial radio station. Instead of enclosing the station to our Television and Radio department, we have it as a club for all under-graduate students to express themselves on-air. This combination of decisions has led to a varied and awe-inspiring collection of personalities. Some want a future in today's Radio markets, and some just want to discuss how their day is going. All of us feel that radio is an amazing media to broadcast on, and we look forward to continuing our station for years to come.

We are free-form to give students the greatest capability to create a show of their choosing.

We are non-commercial to allow students freedom in playing the music they want to play.

Our shows are diverse, like our college, and like our Borough. We are WBCR, Brooklyn College Radio.
